Jeudi 26 mai de 19h à 7h le lendemain dans différents lieux à Tel Aviv, à proximité de l’Institut français – Accès libre et gratuit à tous les événements de la Nuit !
Après l’immense succès rencontré l’an dernier, l’Institut français d’Israël propose une nouvelle Nuit de la Philosophie à Tel Aviv, en coopération, pour cette seconde édition, avec le Goethe Institut et The Israel Democracy Institute. L’événement, coordonné par le philosophe Raphael Zagury-Orly, qui en assure le commissariat, et Tilla Rudel, attachée culturelle et directrice adjointe de l’Institut français d’Israël, se tiendra le jeudi 26 mai 2016 de 19h à 7h du matin. Toute la nuit, le public est invité à participer à des discussions, conférences, lectures et tables rondes autour de grandes thématiques philosophiques actuelles.
Vous verrez la philosophie sous un tout autre jour – de nuit !
Cet événement unique réunira dix-neuf philosophes français et allemands de notoriété internationale et plus de soixante-dix intellectuels israéliens de renom. A travers des thématiques et des formats divers et variés, ces penseurs interviendront, débattront et poseront ensemble les questions essentielles qui marquent nos sociétés contemporaines. L’accent sera particulièrement mis sur les questions portant sur la démocratie, la religion et les droits de l’homme, la crise et la violence au cœur de nos systèmes démocratiques ainsi que sur l’avenir de l’humanisme face à la technologie et les progrès de la science. Grâce à notre collaboration avec The Israel Democracy Institute, les philosophes proposeront de nouvelles perspectives sur les problèmes socio-politiques contemporains.
L’Institut français d’Israël et le Goethe Institut ont conçu un itinéraire philosophique nocturne exceptionnel et festif – et totalement gratuit ! Les événements auront lieu simultanément dans 13 lieux partenaires, autour du boulevard Rothschild et de l’Institut français de Tel Aviv. En tout, une quinzaine d’espaces différents, tous accessibles à pied, proposeront tout au long de la nuit discussions philosophiques, conférences, lectures à voix haute et séquences musicales. Cette année, un nouvel espace accueillera nos activités : le Bialik Rogozin International Campus dans le sud de Tel Aviv. A 19h00, l’événement sera ouvert sur la place en face de l’Institut français au 1 bd Rothschild par une lecture d’un texte d’Albert Camus par Gila Almagor, accompagnée par la musique de la violoncelliste Sonia Wieder-Atherton, en présence des ambassadeurs français et allemand, S.E Patrick Maisonnave et le Dr. Clemens von Goetze.
Dans le prolongement de cette nuit à Tel Aviv, les philosophes français et allemands invités participeront également à un débat philosophique sur le thème « La fragilité de la démocratie et la montée du populisme aujourd’hui », le 28 mai au Beit Hagefen de Haïfa, avec le soutien de la municipalité de Haïfa.
