L’événement est organisé par l’Institut français d’Israël avec le soutien de la Fondation Jacqueline de Romilly abritée par la Fondation de France.
La 7e édition de la Nuit de la Philosophie et de la Démocratie en Israël se tiendra le jeudi 1er juin à partir de 18h45, en entrée libre.
Lancée par l’Institut français d’Israël en 2015, la soirée est devenue l’un des événements culturels et intellectuels les plus importants du pays. Chaque année, les Nuits de la philosophie offrent en effet une plateforme unique de dialogues sur la philosophie, la culture, l’art et la politique.
La soirée vise à favoriser le dialogue entre philosophes et intellectuels français et israéliens, et donne l’occasion au public israélien d’être présent à ces rendez-vous thématiques. Elle est organisée par l’Institut français d’Israël avec le soutien de la Fondation Jacqueline de Romilly abritée par la Fondation de France.
En outre, La Nuit de la Philosophie permet des discussions et des débats stimulants entre les différents éléments de la société civile en Israël – y compris religieux, laïcs, Juifs, Arabes, universitaires, personnalités politiques et publiques, hommes, femmes, etc.
L’évènement aura lieu cette année dans plusieurs lieux à Tel Aviv. Le commissaire de l’événement, le philosophe Raphael Zagury-Orly, a centré les dialogues et les discussions autour de l’état de la démocratie dans le monde et de la crise politique actuelle en Israël.
La Nuit de la philosophie comprendra 30 panels et débats avec des chercheurs et des intellectuels de renom. Parmi les philosophes, intellectuels et universitaires invités venus spécialement de France pour cet événement : Francis Wolff, Pierre Birnbaum, Eva Illouz, Myriam Revault d’Allonnes et Julie Saada.
